Supporting charities is important to us. As a company, we are proud to support both War Child and Oxfam Novib.
Oxfam Novib
Oxfam Novib fights for a world without poverty and with equal chances for everyone. They believe in the strength and possibilities of people, just like we do.
We therefore support Oxfam Novib’s micro finance program. Poor people often have difficulties to get a loan from a bank. With our help, people from developing countries can get a small credit through the micro finance program. With this loan, people are able to start their own company and make a living.
War Child
War Child empowers children and young people in conflict areas by providing psychosocial support, stimulating education and protecting children from the effects of war. This way, they truly make a difference in the life of many vulnerable children.
Gwen van Mansum wrote a note on behalf of War Child:
“Limpens has started supporting War Child in 2002 and has become a very valuable partner to us. Limpens supports children affected by war financially on a structural basis. Besides this annual financial contribution, the Limpens employees organize several activities for War Child. They also offer supportive services, such as the logistic services during the Radio 538 tour across the Netherlands. Thanks to the help of Limpens, War Child can focus on children in conflict areas. Children get brighter future perspectives, become more confident and can go to school again. But the most important thing is that they can be a child again.
